• Who is eligible?

  This is a special package for new subscribers. A new subscriber is anyone who has not subscribed to San Francisco Opera in the past three seasons (2023–⁠24, 2024–⁠25, 2025–⁠26).

   

• Why subscribe?

  Subscribing is one the best ways to support the work we do at San Francisco Opera. Our subscribers are valued partners in creating work onstage and in the community. Subscribers' commitment to multiple operas allow us to program thrilling seasons of diverse repertoire and inspire future audiences through ticket initiatives, education programs, community engagement, and so much more. 

  As a subscriber, you have access to benefits that allows you to deepen your engagement with this art form. Plus, you have access to the best seats at the lowest prices AND your year of opera is scheduled for you in advance, so you don't have to think about purchasing tickets month to month.

• Is this too good to be true?

  No! Bernard and Barbro Osher have generously underwritten The Osher Future of Opera subscriptions in the hopes of bringing new subscribers to San Francisco Opera.

   

• What is the fine print?

  A few things to note when purchasing an Osher Future of Opera Subscription

  • Quantities are limited! We may sell out of sections, so if there's a particular section you want, act fast. Eligible Osher Future of Opera patrons can purchase one subscription of up to 8 seats as part of the program in the 2026–27 Season.
    
    
  • Center Box, Box, Orchestra Premium, Grand Tier Premium, Dress Circle Premium, and Balcony 3 sections are not available for Osher Future of Opera Subscriptions. If you are interested in those sections, visit sfopera.com/subscribe. 
    
    
  • Performances on M and N Series are not eligible for the Osher Future of Opera Subscription.
     
  • Osher Future of Opera Subscriptions will be seated after our full priced subscriptions, but before the general public. 
    
    
  • If you have selected a Full or Half series you will be able to keep your seats from year to year! Please note that prices will vary from year to year. 
    
    

  • Subscription tickets may be exchanged for another mainstage performance within the same season with some restrictions. Read our Subscriber Ticket Exchange Policy for more information.
