Where to Eat

Order your intermission refreshments before the show! Visit the bar closest to your seating section and order your intermission drink from the bartender.  Your drink will be waiting for you at the bar at the start of intermission.  It's that easy!

If you have tickets to another SF War Memorial venue performance, you are welcome to dine at the Opera House if there is an Opera or Ballet show that same day and time?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the War Memorial Opera House. Please note: Patrons with dining reservations at the Opera House prior to one hour before curtain must enter via the North Courtyard entrance.

  A night at the opera is an elegant event, deserving of a remarkable culinary experience. Our gorgeous setting located on the lower level of the War Memorial Opera House offers an ideal environment for pre-performance and intermission dining.

  For all performances of Parsifal, complete your visit at the Opera with a special Harmony Feast prix fixe dining experience. Begin with a glass of red, white, or sparkling wine before the performance; at first intermission, return to find your pre-selected entrée waiting at your table; and at second intermission, indulge in a decadent dessert with coffee. Please see the “Harmony Feast” section above for additional details and to purchase your meal package in advance to reserve your table.
