It is with great pride and pleasure that we invite you to San Francisco Opera Guild’s cherished annual event, An Evening on the Stage. This elegant gathering, a highlight of the Bay Area’s holiday season, will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, and promises to be a memorable celebration as we honor The Honorable Nancy Pelosi, Speaker Emerita of the US House of Representatives, and Mr. Paul Pelosi for their longstanding support of opera and music education in our community.
Nancy and Paul Pelosi have been steadfast supporters and advocates of both San Francisco Opera Guild and San Francisco Opera. Their dedication has been instrumental in advancing the arts in our community. Through their generous contributions and tireless advocacy, they have played a crucial role in supporting our music and arts education programs. Their commitment has helped provide invaluable opportunities for aspiring artists and K-12 students in the Greater Bay Area. Their support has also helped nurture creativity, foster academic achievement, and promote personal growth for students of all backgrounds.
