It is with great pride and pleasure that we invite you to attend San Francisco Opera Guild’s cherished annual event, An Evening on the Stage.
This elegant gathering—one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated holiday traditions—will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the historic War Memorial Opera House. This unforgettable evening promises to be a joyous celebration of artistry, generosity, and community.
This year, we are honored to pay tribute to Maria Manetti Shrem for her extraordinary support of San Francisco Opera Guild, San Francisco Opera, and her steadfast commitment to the arts and music education—both in our community and around the world. Her visionary philanthropy has left a lasting impact on countless lives and organizations.
This special event will be held at the War Memorial Opera House and will begin at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails in the grand foyer. The doors to the theater will open at 7:00 p.m., and guests will experience the thrill of being on the stage in one of the world’s grandest opera houses amid stunning décor and an elegant dinner followed by special musical performances and dancing.
