It is with great pride and pleasure that we invite you to Save the Date for San Francisco Opera Guild’s cherished annual event, An Evening on the Stage. This elegant gathering—one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated holiday traditions—will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and promises to be a memorable celebration as we honor Maria Manetti Shrem for her extraordinary support of San Francisco Opera Guild, San Francisco Opera, the arts, and music education in our community.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the War Memorial Opera House and will begin at six o’clock in the evening with cocktails in the lobby. The doors to the theater will open at seven o’clock in the evening and guests will experience the thrill of being on the stage in one of the world’s grandest opera houses amid stunning décor by J. Riccardo Benavides. An elegant dinner prepared by McCalls Catering will be followed by special musical performances and dancing.
