Overview

In the final chapter, Siegfried is tricked into betraying Brünnhilde and is killed. Realizing the full scale of deception and destruction, Brünnhilde returns the cursed Ring to the Rhinemaidens and sacrifices herself on Siegfried’s funeral pyre. As flames consume Valhalla, the old world collapses—making way for renewal.
