I created this art piece to reflect the unclear passage of time in life, and how hope in a higher power can ease current suffering.  

My style for this artwork uses a graphic design approach which includes a 'manga' style nun. She is painted in a mixture of clear and blurry brushstrokes. I employ text with a gritty color scheme. My current influences are graphic design artists, Jeremy Mann, and current European artists. 

Daily life in unknown and more so in prison, but hope keeps people afloat, as reflected in the art piece "Blessed." The solemn colors, faded text and clear/blurry imagery help to define prison for me and the characters in Dead Man Walking.
