Beethoven & Falla

Overview

Following last season's sold-out concert of Beethoven's Ninth, Eun Sun Kim returns to conduct the San Francisco Opera Orchestra onstage with Beethoven's glorius, fate-propelled Fifth Symphony, acclaimed by E.M. Forster as "the most sublime noise that has ever penetrated into the human ear." The concert also features Spanish composer Manuel De Falla's evocative Seven Popular Songs (Siete canciones populares Españolas), featuring beloved San Francisco Opera artist, Daniela Mack, who recently protrayed Frida Kahlo, and his fiery Three Cornered Hat Suite No. 2 (El sombrero de tress picos). One night only!
